The P ZERO™ Race TLR RS is the latest addition to our P ZERO™ Race cycling range of road-performance tyres. It is our latest evolution in terms of technology, made in Italy out of our new manufacturing plant in Milan, and it has been developed in collaboration with our Pro athletes to be faster and grippier than anything Pirelli has created before. P ZERO™ Race TLR RS is the perfect fit for those who race, but also for those who want to feel the same as the Pros feel.
The P ZERO™ Race TLR RS has been designed from our R&D department starting from experience and direct requests of our World Tour athletes, ensuring a perfect match to their need of performance for the race day.
The new SmartEVO²:
The new SmartEVO² represents the latest advancement in our high-performance racing bicycle tyre compound, enhanced by incorporating our Motorsport expertise at the highest level and the needs of modern World Tour racing. It evolves from the SmartEVO blend of three polymers with ‘smart’ characteristics, utilizing new materials and innovative mixing processes, now possible at our own manufacturing plant in Italy located just close to our R&D global headquarter. This results in improved overall grip, especially on wet surfaces, and a reduced rolling resistance to record level for its category, elevating both performances and handling feelings to what the fastest World Tour racers in the world demand.
SpeedCORE™:
Pirelli’s (patent pending) TLR casing technology for the lowest rolling resistance and best handling possibly achievable on tubeless-ready construction: delivering a smooth and fast ride feeling. This structure adds strength and support to the tyre casing but retains a supple feel for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip, compared to a tyre with a full bead-to-bead aramid construction. Our SpeedCORE™ technology allowed for a racing tuning of the casing: a newer and lighter structure to boost speed and handling, with a new bead design to maximize compatibility with moder aerodynamic rim designs.
